hater-of-terfs:

I, a hearing person who likes subtitles just as a preference, shouldn’t have to read a subtitle that’s obvious nonsense, go back a couple seconds, and listen again in order to figure out what’s going on. An accessibility feature should not be the most half-assed part of a professionally made production. Scripted media has absolutely no excuse for not having subtitles or having subtitles that aren’t perfectly verbatim. Professional captioning services should be ashamed of the shoddy work that they put out. Captions should be treated as a part of the production, just like filming, editing, audio balancing, etc - and anything that releases with missing or bad captions should be seen as unfinished

I’m going to be honest. Zero empathy for formerly trans masculine detransitioners who wax poetic about how testosterone made them sooo ugly and they just weren’t prepared for it and how the evil trans cult destroyed their feminine beauty. That’s not testosterone’s fault, that’s not trans people’s fault. That’s a genetic fault. Take it up with your bald-headed daddy. Get a toupee and get a grip.

damn you guys can’t read. that’s so sad. balding is not ugly but obviously they think so and it bothers them. instead of addressing the problems that they have with their appearance, they decide to attack the trans community, to blame HRT and its effects for their incredible insecurity in their appearance, negative self image issues that obviously began before they started transitioning.

there are detrans grifters posting pictures of themselves with make pattern baldness, looking like the average 35 year old, tears streaming down their face with a caption like “this is what 10 years of testosterone does to a teenage girl”

I am also a trans man and one day I may find myself balding and requiring a toupee and that doesn’t scare me in the slightest. there is nothing wrong with being bald or having male pattern baldness. there is nothing wrong with mourning the loss of a full head of hair, all humans can face that loss due to any number of factors. the problem is that they weaponize lookism to further their anti-trans “trans men are just innocent girls who can no longer be sex objects because they were mutilated and coerced by a predatory agenda” notions

terfs celebrating that the international chess federation has banned trans women from competing in women’s FIDE competitions, because it’s sooooooo feminist to argue that women are so biologically inferior and nowhere near as smart as men and thus can’t play chess on the same level. girl that’s not feminism that’s literally just misogyny

they’ll lick any boot that stomps on trans women

help a black trans man get insulin?

for the ones of you who don’t know me, my name is Marco. Not long ago I was booted off state health insurance because I make “too much” to have free health insurance. I still have an insurance plan under my father’s name because I am 23, but diabetes supplies and insulin are still impossible for me to afford while paying all of my bills and taking care of my pets. I have recently paid for insulin for myself but I am running out of supplies and my 24 hour tresiba insulin. I have type 1 diabetes and will not be able to survive without my supplies or my medication. With any help and support I will buy my diabetic supplies as needed and try to collect together enough support to advocate for my supplies to be at a lower cost. I make minimum wage and I cannot afford this on my own. Any kind of support is welcome and if you cannot donate please share this. Thank you.

like just because something exists now, people can only conceive the violence of its removal and not the violence required to create and sustain it

If you had a button to destroy the internet right now, would you press it? Under what circumstances would you press it?

assuming you mean the entirety of the Internet, including payment processing networks and bank records and intelligence and police databases and loan records? then yes immediately without a doubt no questions asked

And of course they’re defending this policy by saying it’s to fight child sex trafficking. What a surprise, that this particular moral panic is being used to smokescreen measures that will endanger vulnerable and desperate people exercising their rights!

I don’t care what gender you are. Put on this slutty top and these tight shorts.

“Not me, though, I’m too fat.”

You’re the target audience.

“Forgive me Father for I have sinned and Sorry Daddy I’ve been bad mean the same but are opposites” find a trans woman with a god complex and live a little. Those statements are much closer in meaning than you realize.
